Changes to the Lokalise Android SDK
What has changed?
As of September 1st, 2026, we have discontinued development and support for Realm-based versions to focus exclusively on the Lite version of the Lokalise Android SDK. Previously, both Realm and Lite versions were supported.

What does this mean for you?
You can continue using Realm SDK versions even after the announced date. Following that date, your team should not expect any further improvements or fixes for Realm versions from Lokalise. We encourage to plan your migration to the Lite version early to ensure continued access to the Lokalise OTA service.

Starting with the upcoming Lokalise Android SDK v3 release later this year, only a single version (based on the SQLite database) will be available. This change is necessary to remove dependency on the Realm library that reached its end-of-life on September 30, 2025.
